Most Equally Esteemed Comrades,
Esteemed Jackalopelipsky:
"With munition factories on fire, maybe War Bonds are new again. It's all in how the billions for Ukraine are spent. Build Back Better Munition Factories across the USSA."
I drove past the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant last week. Olin Winchester recently took over the contract to operate the plant. After the valorous advance to the rear in Afghanistan the plant had laid off most of two shifts. Suddenly there are large "We're Hiring" signs all around town. If I weren't such a broken down mess I would go apply to stack bbs. Like the t-shirt says: Bullets Make Me Happy!
Esteemed Ivan and Zeppelin,
The Stolen Valor folks are hard to tolerate. Ivan, your denial of that poser's claim lifts my fishy heart. I know I won't talk about a lot of my experiences. Mrs. Red Salmon tried to get me to talk about an episode very early on in my career. I couldn't share because knowing would not make her any happier. Like pretty much everyone else I flew with, I learned to internalize and grab a bag of placid faces before I went home. Then she and my toddler son witnessed the LAPES Crash at Fort Bragg. I was supposed to be flying in that demonstration. Not on the LAPES Bird, but another aircraft. She watched two of our friends die. Months afterwards she told me she understood why I don't talk about things. An understanding was forged and we have been a strong union ever since. A friend who served in an elite Army unit and I had a code for those we believed to be of the Stolen Valor variety. If someone was hooah, they were one of us. If someone was not hooah, they were not. Those who were there rarely speak of it to those who were not. Thanks for addressing this subject.
Esteemed Comrade Colonel,
Your kindness to the movie evidence spouting fool was moving. May his vector be in pure pursuit of the big ball.
Back to the subject of this thread: There is an artsy theater on the Independence Square. Yesterday I noticed that they are screening Civil War. As there was no one in line, I asked the person in the ticket booth if sales were brisk for that particular show. She said, "No." It seems there was an initial rush, maybe two packed showings, and then no one has bought a ticket since. Her words: The Usual Suspect Useful Idiots saw it and no one else is interested. Then she wondered out loud when John Wick 5 was coming out so she could sell some tickets.
I denounce myself for hogging more than my share the People's Pixels™. Off to the rail yard.
Red Salmon
Cured Red Salmon,
Make American Munition Factories Great, Again.
To all valorous Comrades,
Jackalopelipsky had no intention of stealing any comrades' valor, but 'pelipsky did experience a Jane Fonda in the face rant. Trapped in the back seat of a Bronco II with Jane Fonda wasn't anywhere near to Hanoi Hilton standards of torture. However, the 'final solution' torture that silenced 'pelipsky into 3rd personhood was no one, upon hearing the report, understood the action was a breach of civilized norms. 30 years later, and the US Military is a complete disaster. Sort of screams the truth about the benign nature of casually erasing the line of traditional rules of civilized behavior for peace.
'pelipsky now gets to laugh as their NGO's are asking illegals to vote for Biden, because their 'livelihood' is being threatened. tears...'pelipsky tells you, tears. hahahhahahahah
